Engines may experience hard starting, poor overall performance, high soot load, loss of power, and high emissions. These effects are amplified in cold weather. Cetane Booster raises the cetane number of diesel fuel. When added to diesel fuel, it improves fuel economy, reduces engine knock, lowers emissions, quiets engine operation, and provides easier starting at lower temperatures.
