Description:

Group IV polyalphaolefins are widely used in both automotive and industrial lubricants due to their exceptional performance characteristics. These base oils offer excellent protection at high temperatures and maintain superior  fluidity in cold conditions, thanks to their high viscosity index (VI). They also exhibit outstanding shear stability, low  volatility, and strong resistance to oxidation. These attributes make Group IV base oils ideal for use in extreme  environments, such as during cold starts or under high thermal stress. Additionally, they are colorless, odorless, non-toxic, non-corrosive, and free from sulfur, nitrogen, and aromatic compounds. Group IV oils are also versatile, as they  can be blended with other synthetic base stocks and are compatible with synthetic esters and alkylated naphthalene.
